She is survived by her loving children; Rafael, Miriam, Hector (and wife), Pedro (and wife), and Migdalia, and all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was a Pilsen native for over 50 years. She is loved by many friends and family. She will be truly missed.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Mercedes that will be held on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. A funeral service will occur on Wednesday, July 24th, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the funeral home, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. A graveside service will follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
