I remember moving to illinois after my godfather getting orders from the military and having no friends. Or even an ide how to make friends in a public school. I remember sitting at a table alone and rj jumped on my table with his marilyn manson shirt and painted face and said "hi my names rj ide like to be your friend ," i shook his hand and we were inseperable till i left for the military at 18. I remember meeting the family and hanging out in his room listening to rock music  rap,,being double trouble, fallin asleep after a long week of school and figuring outwhat to do for the weekend for fun. Walking home under the traintracks and laughing about everything and anything . He literally gave me the clothes off his back ,we would copy eachothers style, steal eachothers clothes ,found are first loves at the same time. And i was so greatful when we celebrated his birthday with his ma ,dad and sis maria before i left . Love you brother. Ill see you again one day.

As the biography says, Rj had a large diverse group of friends and our friendship seemed to always consist of spending every minute of every day together for like 3 weeks, then I wouldn't hear from him for like 3 months, then back to being inseperable. Words cannot describe how unbelievably grateful I am that he decided to go through a Kirsten phase prior to his departure. Richie most definitely made an impact on this earth and his energy is missed. However anyone who knows him knows that theres just a reinvented rj energy amongst us now. He touched the lives of so many people and will be able to do what he spent a majority of his earthbound time trying to accomplish. He will always be there for anyone who needs a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand, a listening ear, a distraction, a good laugh...
You are so loved. I hope you know that, And you're essence is missed.
