

Born in Chicago on April 28, 1924, he was the eldest son of Alexander and Sophia Roginski. He was a lifelong resident of the Chicago area, moving to the western suburbs in the early 1990s.
He married Dorothy I. Moletz in Chicago on October 9, 1948, and she died October 1, 2008.
Mr. Roginski worked as a maintenance engineer, with his last 15 years of employment at Holy Cross Hospital in Chicago. He served in the USAAF during World War II, participating in the European, African, and Middle Eastern campaigns.
He is survived by his daughter, Roberta Mizera, and his son, Bob Roginski (wife: Marge), and three grandsons, Andrew, Matt, and Sean. He was a loving brother-in-law to Joe (wife: Margie) Moletz, and uncle to Julie (husband: Calvin) Spears and Joe (wife: Tammy) Moletz, Jr. He was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Roginski.
Memorial visitation Monday, May 23, 2011, from 9-11 a.m. at Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Stickney. Memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m with Reverend Aimee Delevett officiating (Church of the Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, Clarendon Hills). Graveside service with military honors to follow at 11:30 a.m.
The family requests memorial contributions be sent to the Hinsdale Humane Society.
