Chris Ren'ee Thompson (Kirkpatrick) of Hampton, GA was 49 years young when the Lord called her home on Sunday afternoon on January 24th of 2016. She was born in Atlanta, GA on April 20th, 1966. She worked at Airborne Express & then DHL Global Forwarding for over 30 years, with her final position being a pricing analyst. She received the highest award at Airborne, the Silver Apex award. Her husband, James Tom Thompson was married to her for 27 long years. She gave birth to Tara Ren'ee Thompson age 24 & Bryan Thomas Thompson age 18. She has 3 loving pups: Dasher, Chloe, & Lila. She was the youngest of her siblings who include: Kathy Ann Lawrence of McDonough, GA, Barbara (Peanut) Jane Svajhart of North Olmsted, OH & Bobby (Bucky) Joe Kirkpatrick Jr. of Stockbridge, GA. Chris has 2 nieces and 3 nephews, she was a Great aunt of many.
The family will receive visitation on Thursday January 28th, 2016 from 5pm-9pm at Horis A Ward Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, GA. Chris will be laid to rest on Saturday January 30th, 2016 with services starting at 11am in the chapel at Fairview Memorial Gardens also.
