I met Chris when I joined DHL 5 years ago and when her whole team moved to my facility back in October last year, Chris became my morning buddy... and called ourselves "Early Birds". She always made a point to come to my office to say hello and to catch up... She always uplifted my spirit when things were stressing me out... Chris was a beautiful soul and she is home now... Chris, I miss our morning talks, laughs, and discussions... I miss you dearly...

I met Chris when I first moved to GA from Germany. We were both in High School. Chris went to Morrow High and I went to Jonesboro High. We became friends immediately. They used to call us Twins because both our names were Chris and we both drove a Nova, etc. We also became roommates and Tom came into Chris's life. The rest was a fairy tale. Tom and Chris were always so much in love. My heart goes out to Tom, Tara and Bryan. Treasure the memories and know that she will always watch over you.

We are all so lucky to have known Chris! It is difficult for me to put into words that truly describe what she meant to me. She stuck her neck out for her friends.  She was super smart and an outstanding teacher.  She offered priceless advice on motherhood, work, and life in general.  She was such a good mama and friend.   Tom, Tara, and Bryan, know that she was loved by many and she was a terrific human being. She will watch over all of us. I will  miss her so very much! Lots of love to y'all!

Chris was one of the nicest people that I have ever had the experience of working with at DHL When I was transferred to the Global Forwarding facility in April of last year, she was the first person there to greet me and really make me feel welcome. That was the start of a great friendship.She will be dearly missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris for a few years, and she was one of the sweetest person that I ever met.  I send my condolences to you all.  I will be praying for your family everyday. Tom and I have known each other since high school and I met Chris shortly after we graduated. Tara and my daughter share the same birthday and Bryan is just like the son I never had. Tom and Chris were more than just special friends, they were like a brother and sister. Georgia Bulldogs Football Saturdays are special in the Thompson household.  The memory I will hold most dear of Chris is when I was going through some rough times with my chemo and radiation.  I had fallen asleep in the Lazyboy during the middle of a game and I remember waking up and there was Chris with that wonderful smile she always had and a big soft blanket in her hands. She knew I must have been cold and was taking care of me just like she took care of her family and everyone else she knew. Her kindness, thoughtfulness and that gentle smile will surely be missed.  Rest in peace now Chris...Love you.

Tom, Tara, and Bryan you are in my thoughts constantly. I am praying for you. Chris was one of my closest friends while I worked at DHL. I confided in her and she was always there for me. She will always have a special place in my heart.

I knew that they were a loving family by the way he would talk about them. Tom and I share the same last name and we call each other cousin (Cuz).
