My grandfather was the perfect man I ever knew. When I was very young he and maw took care of me and allowed me to live with them. I was very blessed to have him as a grandfather. He was so loving and caring. He never judged me when I made bad choices in life. He would talk to me and tell me that he wished I would do better, which I did. I always looked up to him. My heart hurts that he is gone but I am happy that he is no longer in pain and not suffering anymore. I will miss him for the rest of my life and love him dearly. He is with God now and I know he is looking down on all of us with a smile on his face. He is home now. I love you Poppie!

My grandfather was one of the most respected men in my life.  How he could bring a smile to your face no matter what was on your mind.  Growing up the only thing I could have done without is all the love taps (as he would call them) but it showed me how to do things and love my family.  I will always remember how he inspired me to follow Jesus in all the choices I make and no matter what your family comes first.  He will be missed deeply but I know we will see him again in the kingdom of heaven.


I’m so very sorry praying for the family I remember him and his wife going to the same church as my parents went to he was a very sweet man and now he is telling jokes with my dad Rev. Lloyd Hunter. May God bless the family 

My Uncle Clarence my fathers youngest brother was always making jokes with us when we were youngsters. He was devoted to God, Family and Friends. His since of humor was like his other brothers my Dad  JL, and My Uncle James. He made a good living as an electrician and took very good care of his family. I will miss him but will see him again some day. My thoughts and prayers for Aunt Myritta, Donna, Pam, Lee, Wayne, June, Julie and all of there families. Rest in peace Uncle Clarence 

My memories of my father-in -law (Pa) are many. His faith in God, his wisdom, his compassion for others and of course his humor.
He inspired me and anyone that knew him to do the very best that we could and always pray to God for guidance. He was a loving father and husband and an amazing grandfather. He was a veteran
of the army, a great neighbor and one of the most honest and comforting people that I ever had the privilege of knowing. Even though I know that he is now with Jesus I will always remember his 
lessons to me and my wife. Pa inspired me and I will miss him very
much and someday I too will see him again in heaven.

My father is a very well respected man to all who knew him and he instilled his faith, his work ethic and his love to all.
I will greatly miss him but one day will join him in heaven.
