Daniel L. Harris, age 77, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 11 am, with Rev. W. Irvin Pearre officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
A native of South Carolina, Mr. Harris was a Staff Sergeant in the Air Force. He retired from Delta Airlines after 34 years and own and operated Harris Heating & Air for 40 years.
He is survived by: wife, Jean Harris of 53 years; daughter Debbie & Michael Burgamy, son, Mike Harris; grandsons, Brandon Burgamy and Nicholas Burgamy.
