Well, it's now 2025, three years since we lost Eugenia. I can tell you there is literally not a single Sunday or Bethel-related gathering where Eugenia's name doesn't come up. We miss her, still today, whether in church, choir, book club, JOY Circle. She is remembered lovingly and fondly and those memories help remind us of how important hospitality is and caring for each other. Eugenia's legacy lives on!!

Eugenia Walters. She was my coworker friend, and my supervisor for 23 years…. 
Eugenia Walters was the best supervisor EVER ! 
She understood people she worked with people. She cared about people as a team.. Gina and I talked a week before about  my mother who had passed away.
And then Gina was gone the next week.!! She is truly missed. RIP ….Pam Dendy/Harris

Can't believe it has been a year without one of the sweetest, kindest, most loving soul I have ever known. She is definitely missed every day and still talked about with love on a weekly basis! 

Just got a reminder of writing a previous condolence for Eugenia. I just had to include this.

Ironically, at JOY Circle on Saturday, Eugenia's name came up. We miss her so much at Bethel and in the Book Club I'm in. We were talking about her wonderful prayers and how she ended each prayer with the same thing and how it sticks with you.  Eugenia's faith, spirit, and determination still live on at Bethel through the rest of us. I know y'all miss her. We are right there beside you, missing her also. Praying you all are doing well.

Love you Aunt Gina. I'm going to miss baking a carrot cake with you. Still think it's crazy to put baby food jars of carrots in the cake .   Love you 

I just found out about Genia's passing!  I am in shock and so saddened.  I have worked with Genia at LabCorp for several years- she was my go to person for everything!!  She was my Weight Watcher buddy.  Am so proud of all she accomplished and feel blessed to have known her.  Prayers to the family that is left behind, and prayers for Genia who is now at peace.  Miss you!!

I am soo out of words !!!  just came back to work and read the email and I cannot still get it in my head! you will be missed thanks for all you did for all of us at work.  Still trying to assimilate the news. May your soul know be at peace... thanks and see you some day .

My deepest sympathy to Genia family, she was a my supervisor but after the death of my sister in October she became more like a friend cause genuinely cared about me and my family especially during our time of bereavement, we talked or IM  weekly her just checking on me. Genia was one of the most peaceful women I have known!
So much like her mom Charmie. I met the Walters Family through a mutual friend Ray Moore. He too is with the Lord now. I have known them for over thirty years and wish them The Peace That Passes Understanding.
This family is so close to each other, and will need our thoughts and prayers for their Peace. 
May God give you all strength  and comfort as time goes on!

I am  grateful to have had the opportunity to meet and  work with Genia.
Genia , became  the best Supv. I have worked with, will be missed beyond words. 
I will forever remember her , Chilli, her surprisingly gifts,. valentine, xmas, lab week, pot luck, that soup  &  chilli was everything to me , and her headache joke. "If I had a head as big as yours , my head would hurt too". 

Reminding myself daily. 
Genia , is not on IM, PLB, working 1/2 day, or on vacation .

I was heartbroken to find out that Genia had passed away.  She was such a kind soul and was such a blessing in so many lives.  She was a dear friend to me and I will miss all our talks and shared laughter and tears.  We had wonderful times together at Bethel and at Book Club and outings.  I cannot imagine my life without her in it.  Though I will carry her memory in my heart.  The world seems a little colder now. Genia will be truly missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.  

Genia was one of the most caring and generous women I've ever known.. I'm so blessed I had the pleasure to call her a friend!! She will truly be missed!!

We will miss Eugenia so much at Bethel and also at Book Club. She was always so energized about things she loved…people, books, church, cooking! She touched so many people, just since I’ve known her. We love you all and appreciate you sharing her with all of us. You all are in our prayers.

Eugenia was my great aunt . And amazing one she always put everyone first before her self . We loved her so much . She loved my boys so much she was at every birthday party and there for me when I got married . She was always there for anything and I’m so happy she was I loved her so much . I miss you .. see you later love!! 

My sister and I have always been close.  We shared a room growing up, even when we didn't have to.  We spoke almost everyday, got together a couple of times a month and often traveled together.  Genia loved the beach and the mountains.  She loved her work friends and her church family.  She was the one who kept up with family far and near.  
Genia Lynn was one of the most intelligent,  well read individuals I have ever known.  She was very committed to her job and was looking forward to retirement and the ability to travel and explore new places. 
She was my first best friend. I already miss her so much. Her faith was strong and I know we will meet again one day.  Godspeed sweet Genia.  I love you💔

Prayers go out to Eugenia's family and Labcorp coworkers during this difficult time. I enjoyed working with Genia and am thankful for the opportunity to know her.

Eugenia will truly be missed .She was a hard worker and dedicated to her work at Labcorp. She was a asset to this company .We have had moments that we shared an laughed about things and I will miss that relationship .She wasn't  the type of supervisor who ruled with a iron fist .We had our moments but always got over it and worked together on things .       

I have loved working with Genia for 25 years. I actually trained her when she joined the Customer Service Dept. I consider her a  friend, not just a co-worker. She is already missed.  Prayers for the repose of her sweet soul are rising to Heaven. Prayers for the comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding for all of her very beloved family. She spoke of you all often.

A laugh on the phone, a joke when we were alone. Pictures of food, talks that for others would allude. A shared common ground, a laugh instead of a frown. So very sorry to hear this news. My family met Gina's family when my Mom & Dad owned Accent Variety & Florist...Gina worked at the restaurant on the other end of the bldg. We thought a lot of she & her sweet Mom. Prayers for the family. May God hold each of you near & comfort you as only He can in the days ahead. 🙏

Gina, my friend,  I will miss talking with you on the phone,  we became acquainted thru Labcorp.  We would always talk about her trips to Oak Island in NC.  We spoke often of her husband and son, she was so proud of her son.
