Fred C. Howard, age 73, of Ellenwood passed away on October 17, 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce Howard; daughter and son in-law, Ellen and Marty Kindred of Culleoka, TN; three grandsons, Mike Futral and his wife Kira of Columbia, TN; Justin Williamson of Jackson, GA; and Richard Williamson of Murfresoro, TN; great granddaughter, Addie Futral of Columbia, TN; brother, Ned Howard of Rome, GA; sister, Mae Lamade of Young Harris, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Eunice Howard; five sisters; and one brother.
Mr. Howard is a member of the Pinecrest Baptist church. He retired from General Motors Lakewood plant as the Benefit Representative and worked at Senoia Raceway for many years. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, from 5 to 8 P.M. at Horis A. Ward-Fairview Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21 at Horis A. Ward –Fairview Chapel at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Phillip Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
