Howard M. Pyle

Dr. Howard M. Pyle, formerly of McDonough, Georgia, born January 5, 1932, completed his journey to Heaven on Sunday, March 20, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents Norman Fletcher Pyle and Helen Carey Pyle, his loving wife of 42 years, Ann Riggs Pyle, and their granddaughter Jessica Ruth Powell, and brothers Robert F. Pyle and Hugh F. Pyle. He is survived by his three daughters, Joy Pyle Powell (Roger), Natalie Pyle Cason (Wess), and Katherine Pyle Edwards (David), as well as 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and brothers Norman E. Pyle and Homer T. Pyle.

Pastor Pyle served as the pastor of Faith Baptist Church of Ellenwood, GA, for over 40 years. Under his ministry, Faith Baptist Church had a wide reaching influence in the community, through worldwide missions, Camp Cameron, Atlanta Christian Academy and Faith Christian Academy. His life and ministry touched and influenced the lives of countless people directly and indirectly.

His life verse which he truly believed is: Romans 8:31-32, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
