James Bartlett, age 71, of Riverdale, GA passed away on September 16, 2019. He was born to Roy and Virginia Bartlett in Atlanta, GA on January 3, 1948.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Evelyn Bartlett, his children; Bonnie Jo Bartlett, Lisa (Eric) Samples, James Darrell Bartlett, Ashley Dawn Bartlett and Christopher Smith, his grandchildren; Jeremy Allen Beitman, Amber Nicole Gowins, Erica Christine Cowart and Jordan Andreas Bartlett, his great grandchildren; Luna Rayne Samples, Lillian Amoura Gowins, Emerald Elyse Cowart and Layla Rose Gowins, his siblings; Louise Neill, Mary Frances Brooks, Frankie Bartlett, Doug Bartlett, Betty Jean Sills and Johnny Bartlett and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home located at 376 Fairview Rd in Stockbridge, GA 30281. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 12 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
