Jimmie Jean Hewitt, age 82, of Locust Grove, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 1pm, with Daryl Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
Mrs. Hewitt was a member of The Eastern Stars College Park Chapter and had a love of cooking. Her greatest passion was her family which she dearly loved.
She is survived by: children; Tommy & Delilah “Dee” Hewitt, Kathey & Clayton Fowler and Wanda & Roy Fullerton, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister; Hazel Sanders, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Wallace Hewitt.
