I will never forget the time Joshua came to Oklahoma for the Welding class that Brandon helped teach. Besides repeating the funny moment with the 4wheeler 'taking a bath in the pond' story, I remember the evening where he came to our house to help carve pumpkins with Tucker and Kamton. He was always willing to lend a hand and help out out in anything that came up. We had so much fun, the boys still talk about it. Distance made it hard for us to visit as often as we would have liked to but I will definitely miss his silly jokes and shy smiles. RIP and fly high sweet Joshua. We love you!

Joshua and I were first cousins. Our moms were pregnant with us at the same time but he was born one week before me...which is something he would not let us forget. That one week made him so much older than me, ha ha! We saw each other more often as kids than we did as adults. I remember Joshua always shared his toys with me and my sister, whether it be video games or the rope swing in the backyard. He introduced us to Donkey Kong and swam with us -- we didn't have a pool so it was always the thing to do at his house. I love you Joshua but I know you are in a much better place and we will be with you soon. We will take care of your mama in the meantime.

I can remember a trip to Georgia years ago when I was younger. Joshua was real little and he got ahold of the water hose outside and started spraying one of the adults. I can remember them yelling for him to put it down and chasing him. Loved the laugh! Something I have never been able to forget! Joshua your going to be greatly missed. You have impacted so many people along your way and no one will ever be able to replace you. I love you always and forever!

From the time Joshua could walk he always wanted to help. Whether it was dragging limbs across the yard or using a vaccum. Joshua always wanted to be some sort of help. He was a hard worker, always knew he would do something outdoorsy. Bobby and I always knew we could rely on Joshua to help around the house or Bobby's work. He loved helping others. Joshua that was one trait you had down pat.I admired Joshua for his caring spirit he would give you his only shirt off his back if it meant to help someone of need. Gonna miss you buddy, loved hearing you call me TonTon You will be missed buddy but never forgotten. We loved you so much. RIP and do what you've always done best,in Heaven! Fly high

How you would pick on us seeing you grow hearing your laugh Will Love and Miss You Forever one day we will meet again until we meet again send me some Butterflies I Love them!!

Josh and I go way back. I remember playing when we were kids on our rope swings and playing match box cars in the sand. I used to make him be the Ken when I would play Barbies. He was my first best friend. You couldnt tell us anything. We would go right up to our fort (tree house) and step into our imaginary home with homeade curtains and a bucket to pull up our food and things we needed. I remember getting off the school bus and making ramon noodles then jumping on the trampoline for hours. We were always together. Always playing outside and exploring over fences and deep in the woods creating our own little worlds. He will always be remembered as my most trusted childhood friend and I will truly miss him.

We have known Nadine and Joshua since Parkway Baptist Church, they were at our wedding more than 22 years ago. I watched him grow to be quite a good young man. Many times Nadine and I prayed over him. I know that God honored our prayers and that Joshua rests in His Arms. You will be very missed Joshua! You were and are very loved.

We were friends of Dave & Nadine during our time at Parkway Baptist. Our Daughter Selina, loved Joshua like a little brother. Even after moving to Newnan, we kept in touch. Fishing at West Point Lake, cooking out and spending dinner time together. Joshua was part of our family spending time riding the four wheeler with Selina. He was polite, cute as a button and showed us love. He will be missed, his smile on Facebook and we plan on seeing him again in Heaven. He couldn't have asked for a more loving and Godly Mother while he was here on earth. Now God has his loving hand to hold. Joshua, We love you! Praying for you Nadine, we love you!

Joshua was not just a my best friend he was like a little brother to me. We always hanged out at church. I always made sure he was always having fun and happy. We would hang out when our parents got together. I will always remember his favorite song . He loved to sing when he was a little boy. He would sing the song I'm in the Lord's Army. I will always remember him singing and his cute smile that he always had. Well Josh now you are watching over me making sure I'm always smiling and singing your song. I always loved you and always will love you. Rip my best friend my little brother!!!

Joshua I wish we would have got to spend more time together, but being so far away made that hard to do. The memory that really stuck with me all these years was when we had went and found some little frogs. I wanted to keep them but you had other plans for them. You told me you were going to kill them. Man I was so upset and so mad at you. Turns out you were just being ornery. You just wanted to get a rise out of me lol. I'll miss you buddy. I love you! Have fun with great grandpa up there in heaven!

I worked in the nursery at Church, I got to know Joshua when he was very young. He was a handsome sweet little guy, a joy to take care of. Say hi to Crystal for me Joshua, I know you two will have lots to talk about. One day we will see you again. Love you.

The one really memorable time I had of Josh is when we were all at my grandparents house and he was being cool and trying to jump the pond down the driveway on the four wheeler. Well the four wheeler did not have enough power to do so and he ended up sinking the four wheeler in the pond. I also remember when he came to Chelsea, Oklahoma to visit my family and we all took pictures. I might not have gotten to spend as much time with him as other family members but the few times I did will be with me forever. Have fun jumping ponds with four wheelers up there with Great Grandpa!

My fondest memory of Joshua is being at our Aunt Brendas house, and sitting outside for hours just talking about life. We got closer after that, and I’ll never forget that night. Every time we planned to hang out, he was working and I told him he worked too much, and he said, “No I don't work too much. It ain't even work when you love what you do, and plus got to have money to live, and I got expensive taste.” He was just a good ole southern boy, who worked hard, and had fun doing it.
I miss you like crazy, and I love you so much Joshua.

Joshua is my nephew whom i got to meet at a very young age! Thanks to his mom and dad. I lived with them for awhile !
One of the happiest times in my life! I just wish i knew the young handsome man he had become ! I love you Josh rest easy until we meet again !

I met Joshua when he was a very little boy. Watched him grow up to a great man. So loving. He will be missed so very much.

One of my favorite memories I have with Joshua was when he came to visit my grandma and papa in Oklahoma. He ended up ramping the four wheeler into the middle of the pond and got it completely stuck, it was iconic to all of us grandkids! He was always so so so much fun to be around when I got to see him. I sure loved him, and am thankful to have grown up with someone as fun as him! Hope he has an amazing time meeting Jesus and having fun in Heaven!

First of all I want to thank my Heavenly Father for giving me 26 years with the most precious valuable gift that anyone could ever receive. Words can't describe the pleasure and joy my Son Joshua has brought to my life. He was a miracle that the doctor'said would never happen. Through 10 years of praying and trusting God he answered. I have so many wonderful memories that I would have to write a book to write them all down. Who knows maybe someday I will. Joshua was a fun child, never a dull moment. Very high strung and always ready to go. I have pictures of him still in diapers pulling a huge limb across the front yard, another one trying to roll a hose up on the side of the house. He was always wanting to cut the grass so he could drive the lawn mower as a toddler. He would be up under the hood helping his dad with tools in hand. There was one time when we was trying to remove our washing machine out the back door to replace it; and he kept wanting to help us pick it up. We kept trying to keep him back and we ended up accidentally sitting it down on his little hand which was underneath of it. He ended up having to have stitches. I will treasure each and every memory. Joshua my Son, I'm so proud of you. You've always been very determined at whatever yout did. I'm Overjoyed to say that on his own he decided that he wanted to make Jesus his Lord and Savior at 14. Mr. Dan baptised him in his Aunts swimming pool in the winter. Thank you Heavenly Father for loving all your children you created. I know Joshua is with you and I will someday soon see him again. The word of God says that he knew us before we were in our mother's womb. We were all born In the flesh; in sin. Sin separates us from the Father. It's so important that we accept the free gift that the Father offers us. All our sins put on Jesus. Wow what a trade;; death for life. Jesus enables us to be brought back to the Father through salvation. It's our choice whether to accept it or not.

Cousin! I remember a time when you were down here in Oklahoma at my Papa and grandma’s, Kenny and Sandy Hooten, visiting. You were out riding the four wheelers and I thought you were so cool because you were ramping the little hills all around their pastures. Then for some reason you decided you were going to jump their pond and you wound up sinking the four wheeler in the middle of the pond. My Papa was SO MAD at you!! I thought it was hilarious though. Rest easy and jump ponds up there for me!

Joshua you will be greatly missed! I met you when you were just a kid and I saw you grow up and learn a trade and become a hard working man! I'm so sad that you are gone! But I know you are in Heaven now with Jesus and until we see you again I'm going to be there for your Mom and always show her love and support!!! We love you Joshua!!!!!

We met Josh and his Mom when he was a little boy at a church we attended in Stockbridge. He and our son are close in age and they would play together. Sweet family... praying for you, Nadine. ❤️

I remember when you were born, I remember coming to your house and having lunch with you, your mom and your dad. I remember when you used to sit with me and your dad in the church balcony when we had to work the sound.
