June Ann Steele

June Ann Steele of Stockbridge, GA, passed away October 24th, 2022 at the age of 88. She was surrounded by family when she crossed over to join the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born on February 14th, 1934 to Samuel P. Greene and Clara Mae Greene McHugh.

June Ann grew up in Hammond Park Community in Atlanta. She retired from the Georgia/American Heart Association after 40+ years of work. She enjoyed spending time with her family and watching her great grand babies grow. She will be lovingly missed by all who knew her.

June Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Clara Mae; husband, EC Steele; son, Timothy Steele and her two sisters, Maggielena Thomspon and Patricia Ayotte.

June Ann is survived by her son Mike Steele and daughter in law Linda Steele of McDonough, GA; three grandchildren Lisa Sanders (Joey), Leigh Ann Heron (Chris) and Michael Steele (Marlana); five beautiful great grandchildren Anniston, Steele, JoLeigh, Landon, and Aleighna; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

A visitation for June will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Horis A. Ward, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281, followed by a celebration of life at 11:00 AM.
