

Manley Scott (Scotty) McHenry went to his heavenly home Saturday, September 10, 2022. He was a beloved husband, Dad, Stepdad, Granddaddy, and Great-granddaddy. Scotty loved his Lord, his family and his friends. His favorite activities included golf, tennis and traveling. He enjoyed a fruitful career at Delta Air Lines before retiring in 1993. He was a member of Mountain Park First Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Scotty was preceded in death by his parents, Manley Herbert (Shorty) and Lottie Louise McHenry and by his wife Dianne (Burgess) McHenry. Scotty is survived by his beloved wife Marianna (Malone) McHenry. He also is survived by his loving blended family including children Jeff (Janet) McHenry, Mark (Selena) McHenry, Teri (Lee) Tumlin, Steve Malone, Scott (Jennifer) Malone, Sharon (John David) Box, Donny (Karen) Burgess and grandchildren Dusty (Julie) McHenry, Mitch (Gina) McHenry, Tori (Joseph) Outlaw, Alex (Greg) Shedd, Jordan Tumlin, Dalton Tumlin, Devin Tumlin, Mason Tumlin, Lindsey Malone (Baylee Watson), Mark (Kaley) Malone, Chandler Malone, Miles Malone, Madison (Madison) Malone, Madelyn (Clayton) Cheshire, Emily Box, Miriam Box, Walker Box, Sidney Burgess, Avery Burgess, Ethan Burgess, and Ansley Burgess and his precious great-grandchildren Madison McHenry, Manley Rhett McHenry, Tatum Outlaw, J.J. Outlaw, Felicity Shedd, Finn Shedd, Luke Malone, Jack Malone, Anna Lee Malone, and Wilkes Watson. Scotty will be greatly missed by his family, his lifelong friends, his church and his community.
A visitation for Manley will be held Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life memorial service and reception at 2:00 PM.
