Marilyn was born on December 4, 1941 in Muskegon, Illinois to Ora Edward Partridge and Dorothy Arnold Partridge.
She worked a cashier for Kroger. Marilyn also volunteered in her community. In January 2014, just after her 72nd birthday, she was honored by the Senior Spirit Newspaper for spending all summer crocheting lap throws and hanging kitchen towels for home-bound seniors. She made 66 throws and 38 kitchen towels.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hiler, Sr. and later, Lloyd Kemp; granddaughter, Angela Hiler and great-grandson, Alex.
Marilyn's life will forever be remembered and cherished by her sons, Howard Hiler, Jr. of Ellenwood, Georgia and Clare Hiler of Cartersville, Georgia; daughter, Wanita "Dolly" Brock of Ellenwood, Georgia; grandchildren, Rhonda Hiler of Georgia, Misty Hiler of North Carolina, Christina Hiler of South Carolina, Crysta Hiler of Georgia, Christopher Hiler of North Carolina, Kevin Brown of Georgia, Blake Brown of Georgia, Kayla Brock of Georgia and Daryll Brock of Georgia; great-grandchildren, Noah, Cheyenne, Jaylon, Makayla, Dalton, Randi, Abbigail, Layla, Amberlee, Payton, Lizzie, Alex, Sara, Felicity and Bently; great-great-grandchildren, Bryson and Axel; a host of other relatives and friends.
