Michael was a retired electrician from IBEW Local 613 in Atlanta, where he dedicated 30 years of service. His career was marked by a commitment to excellence and a willingness to help others, traits that defined his professional and personal life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel L. Harris. Michael is survived by his mother, Jean Harris, his sister Debbie and her husband Michael Burgamy, and his nephews, Brandon and Nicholas, along with their wives, Katie and Heather. He also leaves behind two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
In honor of Michael's legacy, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Foundation for Alcoholism Research (FAR). FAR is an all-volunteer public charity that exclusively funds research into the causes, identification, prevention, treatment, and cure of alcoholism. 100% of donations go to research.
