Morris Jackson

Mr. Morris Jackson was born on January 26, 1952 in DeKalb County, Georgia to the late Otis and Susie Jackson. He departed this life on December 19, 2021. Morris was educated in the DeKalb County School System. He joined the Poplar Springs Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Reverend W. L. Reynolds. In 1994, Morris received his EPA Universal Certification.

Morris was united in Holy Matrimony to Jacqueline L. Johnson on January 26, 2018. To this union, two sons, Dwight Johnson (Twana) and Vegas Johnson (Linda), were added.

Morris was preceded in death by his mother and father, Otis and Susie Jackson; one son, John Michael Jackson; two brothers, Otis Jackson, Jr. and Willie R. Jackson and four sisters, Josephine Clark, Annie Sue Robinson, Helen Woods and Carolyn Pearson.

Morris leaves to cherish his memory a very devoted wife, Jacqueline L. Johnson Jackson; sisters and brothers, Mary Jackson, Johnny Jackson (Mary), Patricia Mills (Jeff), Pearlene Hall (Eddie), Priscilla McQuire, Nancy Allen, Steve Jackson (Angela), Cindy Seller, Vernisha Daniely (J.D.), Vernell Jackson and Larry Hull; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Morris will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.

The Celebration of Life for Morris Jackson will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 1:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel.
