Myrtle Stephens

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Mrytle Stephens a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She departed this life peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and dedication to family.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her siblings Barbara Smith, Johnny Ragsdale, and Terry Ragsdale. She is survived by her loving siblings: Jerry Ragsdale, Martha Jean Ragsdale, and Virginia Ragsdale, along with their families.

She leaves behind her devoted children: daughter Nora Jean Bohon and her husband Scott Bohon, son Howard Brooks Jr., and son Charles Brooks. She was also preceded in death by son Anthony Brooks, her grandson Howard Brooks III, and grandson Thomas Brooks

Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. She is survived by:

Throughout her life she touched the hearts of many with her unwavering kindness, generosity, and deep faith. Her family was her world, and her legacy will live on through each of them.

She will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A visitation of family and friends for Myrtle will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM, 376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. An interment will occur Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
