

She was born July 4th 1933 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Cline and Esther Bradley. She was preceded in death by her brothers Harris Bradley, Lloyd Bradley, and sister Francis Sosby. Nettie is survived by her husband of 70 years, Edgar ( Dutch ) Holzer; daughters Jane Brown and husband Mike, Ann Wilson and husband Bobby; son Daniel Holzer and wife Brenda. She was known as MawMaw to 7 grandchildren: Crystal, Craig, David, Scott, Thomas (T.J.), Nathaniel, and Matthew; 8 great-grandchildren: Justin, Jamel, Rod, Jasmine, Justus, Jianna, Ford and Millie; and 5 great-great grandchildren: Jayda, Nia, Serenity, Naomi, and Juelz.
Nettie worked as a Histotechnologist at the Veterans Administration Hospital, DeKalb Medical and Rockdale Medical until she retired at the age of 77.
Nettie was a compassionate servant serving with Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, Beach Reach, and help preparing breakfast for Public Services at GlenHaven Baptist Church. Nettie and Dutch spent many of their days enjoying the friendship of many people at the Olivia Haydel Senior Services Center, Rockdale County Georgia. Her church of 57 years, GlenHaven Baptist of McDonough was like an extended family of faith and was her source of support throughout the years with love and kindness.
A visitation of family and friends will be held for Nettie on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Glen Haven Baptist Church | 345 East Lake Road McDonough, GA 30252. A celebration of her life will follow at 12:00 Noon. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at 2:00 PM at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
