Peggy Juanita Phillips age 84 of Griffin passed away Feb. 8, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Phillips. Survivors are two children Larry Slaton & wife Teena and Kimberely Phillips, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren,sister Gail Cooper & husband David and a brother Charles Harper, several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral services will be held Wednesday Feb. 11, 2015 at 1 p.m. in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward. Pastor John Bloodworth will officiate. Interment in the Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
