Richard is survived by his wife, Ann R. Lewis; sons, Richard C., and Steven R.; grandchildren, Amber R., Robert W., Jordan R., and Hudson M. Lewis. He also leaves to mourn him, his brothers, Robert D., and Roger A. Lewis; sisters, Rosalee Warner and Joann Lewis, living in Oklahoma; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Richard was retired from the United States Air Force and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission after many years of meritorious service.
A private interment was held at Fairview Memorial Gardens, in Stockbridge on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
