Robert was born on September 26, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia to R. G. Kent and Lorraine Tant. He was loving and supportive family man. He was currently a truck driver with Innovative Management Services. He enjoyed spending time relaxing while fishing.
Robert met and married Vickie Lynn Dykes and together they spent countless hours loving and supporting each other.
He was preceded in death by his father, R. G. Kent and mother, Lorraine T. Kent.
Robert's life will always be cherished and his memory will remain in the hearts of his loving and devoted wife, Vickie Kent of Stockbridge, GA; children, Brandon (Sarah) Kent of Stockbridge, GA, Tiffanie (Tabatha) Kent of Stockbridge, GA, Dustin Wilder of Jefferson, GA, Coy (Sarah) Wilder of Stockbridge, GA, Charles (Kevin) Slocumb-Luis of San Francisco, CA and Tiffany (Josh Davis) Wilder of Stockbridge, GA; grandchildren, Katelyn Wilder, Natalie Wilder, Faith Kent, Lilly Kent, Ian Wylie, Paige Davis, Alissa Wilson, Allison Davis, Dylan Allen and Kalieb Wilder; aunts, Joyce Coleman and Venita Woods; cousins, Jeremy Coleman and Sonya McKinzie; a host of other relatives and family friends.
The Celebration of Life for Mr. Robert James Kent will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 1:00PM at Liberty Baptist Church, 1410 Valley Hill Road, Stockbridge, GA, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM.
The Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
