Ronald B. “Ronnie” Padgett, age 56, of Stockbridge, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 2 pm, with Pastor Howard Greer officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Decatur.
Ronnie worked for the Atlanta State Farmers Market for 43 years and currently works for Athena Farms. He was an avid fisherman and southern rock music fan. He enjoyed vacationing at Panama City Beach. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and boyfriend.
He is survived by daughter, Lisa Eidson; grandson, Andy Eidson; sisters, Sharon & Frank Schillinger and Susan & Joel Smithgall; girlfriend, Sherri NeeSmith; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lamar and Frances Irene Padgett and brother, James Lamar Padgett, Jr.
