Rufus Rainwater 81 of Stockbridge passed away on August 11, 2010. Mr. Rainwater is predeceased by his parents George Fay and Carrie Channell Rainwater. Mr. Rainwater is survived by his wife Leita Mae Rainwater, son; Kenneth and Judy Rainwater, daughters; Patricia and Bill Benham, Tina Hamilton, sister Margaret Mosley 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral service for Mr. Rainwater will be held on Saturday August 14, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Ward's Fairview Chapel with Rev. Wendell Baggett and Rev. Mark Seymour officating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Friday August 13, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
