Thelma was born in Bleckley County, Georgia on November 21, 1922. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and dancing. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Thelma was preceded in death by her mother Claudie Lee Lucas, father Allen Eugene Fenn, husband Jesse Davis Stephens, son Stanley Davis Stephens; and all 4 of her sisters, Gladys Lee Fenn Davis, Mattie Jean Fenn Raines, Eva May Fenn Oliver and Mildred Fenn Smith.
Her surviving family is daughter Brenda Gail Stephens; grandchildren, Stanley Dean Stephens (JoJo), Jesse Garner (KT Bass) and Belinda Culbertson (DJ); great grandchildren, Judy Stephens, Brian Parrish, Makenzie Huggins, Zachary Garner, Selena Cowart, Hannah Culbertson, Devin Culbertson and Jackson Culbertson; and great great grandchildren, SkyLee Stephens and numerous extended family and friends.
A visitation of family and friends for Thelma will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of life will immediately follow in Ward's Chapel at 1:00 PM. A graveside committal service will occur Thursday, September 9, 2021 at approximately 2:30 PM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory | 2284 Candler Road, Decatur, Georgia 30032.
