Wanda Sue "Susie" Fowler Jones,60, of Covington,GA (formerly of Monticello) passed away Friday March 4th, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital at Emory Midtown in Atlanta, GA. Susie was surrounded by her family at the time of her death.

Born September 2, 1955, she was the 4th and youngest child of Harold and Dorothy (Wright) Fowler in Atlanta, GA. Susie was a dedicated mother of four and grandmother of six. She was married for 20 years until her husband's death in 1998. Susie's sense of humor left you in wonder and had a laugh so infectious you had to laugh with her. Susie had a sweet nature and a smile that instantly made you smile in return. She enjoyed BINGO, cooking, card games, movies, music, and was an avid Patrick Swayze and George Clooney fan.

Susie was preceded in death by: Husband; Raymond Ken Jones, Brother; Wayne Fowler, Father: Harold Fowler, Mother: Dorothy Fowler, and her maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Susie is survived by her children: Jeremy Ewing of Indiana, Kendra Jones (Aaron Purvis) of Moreland, GA, Melissa Jones-Smith (Eddie Lederer) of Covington, GA, Jennifer Jones of Moreland, GA. Grandchildren: Raymond Ewing of Eatonton, Anna Purvis and Mason Weathers of Moreland, Janice Jones, Ty Wilson, and Logan Smith all of Covington.

Sister: Shirley Sweatman (Billy) of Jonesboro,GA

Brother: David Fowler (Barbara) of Snellville, GA

She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, and her many great nieces and great nephews.

Viewing and Memorial Service will be held Tuesday March 8, 2016. Viewing 11:00AM until 3:00PM. Memorial Service will begin at 3:00PM in the Chapel. Anyone who wishes to share memories of Susie is invited to do so.
