William “Mac” McArthur, age 84, of Stockbridge, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Bethel United Methodist Church, 245 Fairview Rd, Stockbridge, GA 30281, at 3 pm.
Skaters of all ages will remember him as Mr. Mac from Skateland.
He is survived by: wife, Mary Jane McArthur of 62 years; children; William & Kellie McArthur, Melinda Davies and Valerie & David Shelton, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sister, Lillian Sledge and several nieces & nephews
He was preceded in death by parents; Gilbert Lee & Annie Mae McArthur and brother, Charles Ridley “Billy” McArthur.
