Mrs. Ellis was born on June 4, 1930 in Marietta, GA to her parents, Walter and Emma Bennett. She married Roy Ellis on August 8, 1952 in Dallas, GA. She retired from Keebler and dedicated her remaining time as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a dedicated member of Glen Haven Baptist in McDonough, GA.
Mrs. Ellis is survived by her husband of 63 years Roy Ellis, daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Eddie White of Conyers, GA; her son, Robert Ellis of Stockbridge, GA; her daughter, Sharon Lozynsky of Conyers, GA; son and daughter-in-law, David and Connie Ellis of Pendergrass, GA; her daughter, Sandy Deaton of Cumming, GA; ten grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and six brothers.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ellis will be held on Tuesday, March 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Horis A. Ward – Fairview Chapel. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, March 14 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Interment in the Fairview Memorial Gardens cemetery, Stockbridge, GA.
