Angelita Reyes (Valverde) Oliva, 74 , passed away peacfully onThursday, April 5th, 2018 in her daughter and son-in-law's loving home,surrounded by her husband, 7 children and loving family. She is preceded in death by her late parents Florentino and Manuela Valverde, brothers William and FlorentinoJr. Valverde and grandson Alex Martinez, She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Robert Oliva; children Anthony (Elena) Martinez, Robert Martinez, Gregory (Mary) Martinez, Tina (Darius) Picarello, Christiane Oliva (Jerry), Nicole Oliva (Larry), Patrick Oliva (Diana); brother Robert Valverde, sisters Anita Anderson and Dolores Rodriguez; She is also preceded in death to her late mother-in-law Beatrice Mani, father-in-law Frank Oliva, brother-in-law Richard Oliva, sister-in-law Irene Oliva and she survived by sister-in-law Rosie Vizcarra, Irene (Julio) Acosta, Monica Ramirez and Grace (Louie) Ambriz; 21 grandchildren, 19 great grand children and 1 great-great grandson William (Liam) Sprouse, numerous extended family and best friend of 56 years Julie Martinez (Homegirl). Growing up she was affectionately know as Baby and Chalkie. Our mom was a homer and loving caregiver to many of her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending our children's school functions and sporting events. She looked forward to gatherings of any kind with family and friends. They were always made extra special because everybody looked forward to her family famous potato salad and macaroni salad. She was a true die-hard San Francisco Giants fan and enjoyed watching the games on TV. She fought a courages and nearly year long battle with cancer.During her fight we gave her the name # OUR WONDER WOMAN STRONG. Mom will forever be in our hearts and will always be our Wonder Woman.
