Augusto "Gus" Delucchi went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2024, at 90 years of age. Gus is survived by his sister Maria Rossi of Stockton. He is preceded in death by his parents, Agostino and Adelina Delucchi.
Gus was born on November 14, 1933, in Chiavari, Italy. He lived in Monterey, Ca while he owned and operated Carmel Valley Disposal Service. After moving to Stockton, he proudly worked for University of the Pacific in the Physical Plant Department and retired after 26 years. Gus was very proud of being able to serve in the United States Army. He obtained his pilot's license and loved to fly his airplane as a private pilot. He had a heart of gold, loved to laugh, enjoyed telling stories and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Gus will be deeply missed.
A public viewing is scheduled for Gus on March 11th from 2pm to 6pm at De Young Memorial Chapel at 601 North California Street, Stockton, CA. There will be a private committal.
