Charles Elbert Sprigg III

Charles Elbert Sprigg III, 87, of Stockton passed away June 17, 2017. He was born July 27, 1929 in Boston, KY to Charles & Ethel Sprigg. In addition to his parents Charles is preceded in death by his wife Doris, 1 grandchild, two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include his children, Linda Byron (David) of Ozark, MO, Charles Sprigg IV (Melody) of Rochester, WA, Wayne Sprigg of Louisville, KY, Kathleen Sprigg of Nixa, MO, and Peggy Brown (Tracy) of Modesto, CA. Charles is also Survived by a step-daughter Connie Abbott (Melvin), 8 Grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

Charles is a veteran of the US Air Force. He retired from San Joaquin General Hospital after19 years as warehouse supervisor. Charles enjoyed being outdoors as he liked to go hunting and fishing. He was always on the road traveling to many different places throughout the country. Charles will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, of Stockton is honored to be serving the Sprigg family. A Chapel service will be held Wed. June 28 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
