It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cirilo Dalman Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. Born in Sicayab, Dipolog City, Philippines, Cirilo built a life centered on faith, family, and service to others.
Cirilo is survived by his devoted wife, Grace, whom he loved unconditionally and would do anything for; his three children: Cliff and his wife Clarissa, Maureen and her husband Josh, and Kurt and his wife Shannon; and nine cherished grandchildren: Presley, Kaitlin, Skyler, Liam, Camryn, Bailey, Hadley, Koa, and Talia.
Cirilo's love for his wife, Grace, affectionately known as Nana, was the cornerstone of his life. His devotion to her was unwavering—there was nothing he wouldn't do to ensure her happiness and well-being.
A skilled mechanic by trade, Cirilo took immense pride in always providing for his family. His greatest accomplishments were seeing his three children establish successful careers and beautiful families of their own. His generosity extended far beyond his immediate family—he faithfully supported nieces and nephews in the Philippines and built a home there, maintaining strong ties to his homeland. True to his nature, he supported anyone who needed his help, whether family, friend, or stranger.
Cirilo was the family's own "MacGyver" who could fix anything—from cars to household problems, nothing was beyond his capable hands. His talents extended far beyond repairs; he was an exceptional cook who had a gift for transforming simple meals into extraordinary feasts.
A devout man of faith and active Knights of Columbus member, Cirilo's service to his church community was tireless. He brewed coffee for every church gathering, cooked for church events, and, alongside Grace, helped feed the homeless. His generosity knew no bounds—he never said no to anyone who needed help and often took initiative before being asked.
Known affectionately as "Tata," he was a loving and accepting man with an incredible sense of humor and a talent for puns. As he once quipped about someone being dishonest, "Oh, they're storytelling a lie." His ability to make people laugh while making his point was legendary.
In quieter moments, Cirilo enjoyed playing his guitar, watching YouTube videos about the Philippines and its people, playing Solitaire on his phone, and especially treasuring time watching his youngest grandchildren with Nana.
Cirilo's legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched with his kindness, the problems he solved with his ingenuity, and the love he shared so freely with all who knew him—from his family here to his loved ones across the Pacific.
