Dear God, 
Please bring comfort and peace to those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Surround them with your love and hold them close. Help them find healing in your presence. Amen. 

When loss shakes your soul:
Some losses do not just break your heart- they shake your world. The kind of grief that leaves you breathless, numb, or asking God why. This is traumatic loss- and it is not something you will simply 'move on' from. But even in the shock and shattered pieces, God is always present. He is not afraid of your questions, your anger, or your silence. He draws near to the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds- not with quick fixes, but with deep healing.

"The Lord is always close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. " - Psalm 34:18.

Trauma may change your life, but it does not remove God's presence. You are not alone in your pain. He sits with you in the ashes. And over time, he will begin to rebuild- gently, patiently with resurrection power.

What a blessing it is to grieve
For it means something sacred once lived here.
For grief is love with nowhere left to go,
Echoing in the quiet spaces they once filled.

What a blessing it is to hurt after loss,
For their leaving was not a choice.
For love had no time to soften the ending.
For the heart was not finished loving.

What a blessing it is to mourn,
To stand as proof that someone existed.
To carry their name forward in quiet ways.
To let loss be a form of remembrance.

What a blessing it is to sit with the silence,
 And still hear them in small, familiar ways.
 In habits, in phrases, in moments that catch your breath—proof they were woven into your days.

What a blessing it is to carry the ache,
 Because it proves the connection was real.
 The pain is not the opposite of love—
 It is love, enduring beyond presence.

What a blessing it is to remember,
 Even when remembering hurts the most.
 For memory is how love survives time,
 And absence becomes another form of closeness.

What a blessing it is to grieve at all,
 To be changed by someone who mattered.
 For in the depth of sorrow lives the truth:
 We loved deeply—
 And that is never a loss.

What a blessing it is to let go,
 Not of love, but of holding it so tightly.
 To trust it will stay,
 Even when carried differently.

What a blessing it is to say goodbye,
 Not as an ending, but as a thank you.
 For the time, for the love, for the mark left behind.
 For all that was shared.

And what a blessing it is to know this:
 That it was worth the pain to have known them.
 That love came, and lived, and changed us.
 And that, in the end, is enough.

I send my prayers for her peaceful return to our Creator.  May she rest peacefully.  For the family, may the Lord grant you peace, comfort, and healing at this sad and difficult time.

I'm so saddened upon hearing Tita Siony's passing. I love Tita Siony. She was one of the sweetest people I have known. My heartfelt condolences to the whole family. May God's comforting hand be with you all during this difficult time. Tita Siony will be truly missed.
