Gary and Aunt Vicky had me out to their Stockton home when I was in high school and I remember lots of cars (Chevy only, NO FORD, and lots of acronyms for Fords I can't repeat here), Sacto drag races, Lodi car show, good food, took me to the local mall for me to buy a red Jansport backpack.  Great time with great people.  See you on the other side, Uncle Gary and Aunt Vicky.    RIP, Uncle Gary.

I remember Gary from his time in the army in Granite City. He married Vickie, a girl who worked with me. I was at their wedding and reception. The two of them spent many evenings with us at our home or theirs in Granite City. Gary was a sweet guy, always even tempered. I lost touch with them years ago and just decided to see what happened to them.  Rest in peace .

It was clear that Gary loved his family, loved classic cars, and was proud of his military service.
