George was born in Fresno, CA on February 6th, 1953 to Carmel and Tomasa Castro. However, he lived the majority of his life in Stockton, CA, where he met and married Madeline Ghisu and they shared 37 years together. George was in the custodial trade for over 35 years, as he ended his service with the Linden Unified School District with 25 years of service.
George was a devoted family man, for he loved to spend time with his family whether it was trips to the lake or having a BBQ at the park. He was a man of his word and always opened his heart and home. He loved his coffee and donuts to start his day, as well as, loved to scratch lottery all while he ate black licorice for they would always make him smile. George had a kind soul and was always good company. He is deeply loved and will be missed. There is nothing that can fill the void in our hearts.
