He was a longtime resident of Stockton, was active in the community and was a volunteer at the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS). George was a sports enthusiast who especially enjoyed golf, tennis and baseball. Music was one of his passions, he played multiple instruments and particularly loved the ukulele.
He was a loving husband to our mom Joan, and devoted father to Nancy, Tim, Gary, Paul and Karen. He has 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. His family was the most important thing to him, and although dementia changed his later years, it never diminished the love he gave or the impact he had on his family. George was preceded in death by his wife Joan, and son Tim.
A private family memorial will be held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon.
