

Geraldine (Geri) Lynn King passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at her home in Lockeford, California. Geri was born on December 28, 1944 in Los Angeles to Lewis and Wilma King. Geri was from a family of three sisters, older sister Nancy and younger sister Kathleen (Kitty). She graduated from Santa Fe High school in 1962. She was married in 1963 and had two children Rondia and Danny. She moved to her own home in Lockeford in 1994. Geri worked at a printing company for many years. Later she worked for the Lodi school district in the cafeteria before retiring in 2013. She belonged to the Lodi Tokay A’s since 1988 (a Model A Ford Club). She played in two Bunco groups in Lodi, and collected many Terri Lee Dolls and sewed doll clothes for the club and traveled to their club conferences every year. She was a gifted seamstress all her life just like her mother. She sewed for everyone and did a lot of upholstery work. She always had time for everyone. She leaves behind her family, daughter Rondia and son-law Vince White granddaughters Sarah and Emily White. Sister Nancy and Glen Maumoynier, niece Laurie and David Paysse, Hannah and Nathan Paysse. Sister Kitty Chadwick and Rick Cruz, niece Kristy and Chris Murphy, Isabella and Sophia Murphy. Geri is so loved by her daughter, granddaughters, and all the rest of her family and friends. She will be missed beyond words. Geri was a beautiful person inside and out. The Lord has a new Angel. She will be laid to rest at Rose Hills Cemetery if you would like to donate flowers please send them there.
