
Regina “Gina” Hattery, 68, of Stockton, Ca. went to be with the Lord the early morning of June 19, 2024. She is survived by her husband Joseph R. Hattery of 45 years, her daughter Celeste M. Hattery, her granddaughter Alicia M. Hattery, her brothers Eric Z. Smith, R. Kevin Smith, Harry R. Smith, David K. Smith, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Milford Burgess Smith Jr. and Cornelia Jane Smith.
Known as “Little Red” to her dad for her beautiful long, flowing, fire red hair, Gina was the only daughter in the Smith family growing up in the 60s and 70s in Park Forest, Illinois with her four brothers. She was undisputedly daddy’s girl.
Gina loved her four brothers, excelled in school, and was very popular with a delightful personality.
Gina started working jobs in her teens and throughout her life maintained a strong work ethic. She excelled in her roles of Quality Assurance/Quality Control which made her a great asset to her employers in retaining existing clients along with winning over new ones.
Gina Hattery will be known for her giving spirit, kindheartedness, and her love for animals. Gina was loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and remembered by her loved ones.
1 Corinthians 13:13 reads “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three: but the greatest of these is love”.
