September 21, 1953 – October 10, 2025
John Benjamin Pinasco, of Linden, California, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025. Born on September 21, 1953, to Lena Marie Prato and Joseph Paul Pinasco, John lived a life full of pride, love, and hard work.
A proud American, John served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1973 to 1977, where he was stationed aboard the USS Ranger during the Vietnam War. His time in the Navy was a defining chapter of his life, and he carried that sense of honor and discipline throughout everything he did.
Following in his father’s footsteps, John became a plumber and completed the Union Apprenticeship Program. Alongside his brothers Fred, Tom, and Joe, he helped build and grow Pinasco Mechanical, a family business that continues to stand as a symbol of the Pinasco brothers’ dedication and craftsmanship.
John was married to the love of his life, Debbie Pinasco, for 35 wonderful years before she preceded him in death. Their bond was strong and full of love, and they are now reunited once again.
John is survived by his four sons, who were his greatest pride: Andy (Heather), Peter (Janette), Matt (Annie), and Johnny. He was a devoted and proud grandfather to Abigail, Sam, Freya, Joey, and Paul, who brought him endless joy.
John built his dream home in Linden, California, where he lived until his passing. He found joy in simple pleasures — tending to his garden, fishing, cruising in his hot rods, and spending time at Lake Tahoe. He was also an active member of the Italian Athletic Club and the Italian Gardeners Society, always cherishing his Italian heritage.
A graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Class of 1972, John was known for his neat handwriting, quick wit, and distinctive style. He lived life on his own terms, loved his family deeply, and was loyal to his friends.
