Joseph Thomas Kane III, 74 Joseph Thomas Kane III, 74, of Stockton Ca, was summoned to a better place at 3:00 pm , Saturday, December 17, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Stockton California. He was born November 24, 1942 in San Francisco, California, to Mariam and Joseph Kane. He married the love of his life Michele on February 16,1969. Joe is survived by his wife Michele of 47 years, son Joseph Thomas Kane IV, and his amazing granddaughter Lauren Marie Kane. Joe was a longtime resident of Stockton, CA where he lived since leaving the bay area in 1977. After graduation, he went to work for the California State Automobile Association and retired after 36 years of service. Joe was a passionate man in all aspects of his life. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa, and friend to all. He was a diehard forty Niner faithful (which truly tested his patience this season), an avid gun enthusiast, loved his kittens as if they were his children. He devoted much of his time helping others as they had done for him. His sense of humor was impeccable and his laugh was infectious. He was strong willed, tenderhearted and would do anything to help family and friends at any time. His encouragement and support touched the lives of many. It was great to be around him and It was great to be with him and the world is going to be a lesser place without him…. The visitation is from 10:00 AM until 8:00pm on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the DeYoung -Shoreline Funeral Home in Stockton, CA . The funeral service will follow the next day at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Presentation Church in Stockton.
