To my Grandpa,
Thank you for the memories threw out the years. I will cherish all of them and pass them down to my children. 
Im sorry I didn't spend more time with you, or even call more. 
I miss you so much. It sucks that you are no longer with us, but I'm happy that you are at peace now and no longer suffering ❤️

There was many good memories I had with you, I will miss you! I remember going to the ranch in Oregon and where we went shooting guns. That day was fun and I wish I could of done it again. I also remember all the times I've been to your house and you telling me to eat all my food since I'm picky. I will miss you everyday that you are gone, but I hope all the pain you felt is now away. I'm going to miss you. I thank you for all the things you have done for me. I will cherish these memories, Rest in Peace

Grandpa I don’t even know where to begin, 

From waking up at 5 am or earlier to get a move on to be the first ones on the lake, From early morning to going dove hunting with the pups on the back of the ATVs to coyote hunting on the Oregon Ranch and hearing them talk back to us, there are many many memories and wish I had more time to make more. Grandpa you have taught me so much through the years between the hunting, fishing and outdoors and fixing things it’s something I look forward to passing down to the boys. You have been the one to get me to have the love for Ford trucks that will always stay with me. From the long days and long nights I wish I could have taken it back to spend more time with you and Jan. From spending time with you when I was little and to teenage years I still cherish all those memories that will always carry with me from all the little lab puppies running around the yard with me, to you scaring Jan on the boat cause you were having to much fun, to the fishing and much more and then always the endless delicious food you and Jan always made. I really don’t wanna think this is real cause it really hurts and I miss you like crazy but I love you grandpa and it’s never a forever goodbye it’s a I will see you later, please do me one big favor and look after Adeline and tell her all about us down here please.

Memories are a wonderful thing, specially when we lose someone close to our hearts.
I grew up learning many things, one of them is learning to work hard, it wont kill ya and when life knocks you down, you get back up and get back into the saddle again. I learned fluent sarcasm throughout the years and definitely some patience lol. I hope I can carry on the Hatfield tradition of the outdoors to Dixson. It's not goodbye but I'll see you around. I'll miss the jokes, the Grandpa's famous spaghetti, and I am sorry I couldn't visit more often. Glad you are pain free and hope you are out on heaven's lake fishing away.

Let me tell you a little about my dad. He loved to tease and make jokes. He loved a good deal, and he worked hard all his life.
I remember someone who entered the awning shop when I worked there. This stranger had a hard hat and needed five dollars to travel, but he said he would pay me back after he returned. My dad said don't do it, but I felt bad for the person, and I did. The man never returned to the shop, so my dad put that hard hat in front of the office window and put a for sale sign on it for five dollars. Every day, he would tease me, and it was funny. But he also taught me a lesson to not be so naive. 
Dad loved to get good deals. During the holidays, he would always find the store with the best deals on turkeys. He even did this when purchasing homes and cars. He was a businessman, for sure.
During his last week with us, he wanted another good deal. He said, "I want the special at Arby's." He would not stop talking about the two-for-six-dollar roast beef sandwiches. He was so persistent about having it that I drove to Lodi to get what he was craving. I was smiling about this because he always loved the deals. Every time I see an Arby's, I remember my dad and smile.  
My dad taught me to be independent, how to fix things on my own, and not to be afraid to try. He made me realize I could do anything on my own. I'm glad he taught me how to joke, be independent, and not let people try to sell me a hard hat. 
Dad, I miss you. I miss the time when I was little, and before we went fishing, we would go to the same restaurant and eat our omelets and talk about anything. I miss the fishing adventures and sometimes how scary it was ocean fishing, pulling up sharks on the line. I will cherish all the memories of our time together, as well as the jokes and teasing you did.

My Dad Kenneth Hatfield

Hello, my name is Sharon Cerroni. I am Ken's youngest daughter. This cowboy hat resembles a lot of my growing up years with my dad and our horses. From going hunting, trail rides, calf penning and gymkana’s.
 It takes me back to when I was young getting the family first pony and my dad riding a 16hh horse. That pony worked hard to keep up with them when we were out hunting, but eventually tired of carrying me she rubbed up against a tree. Now my dad, trying to lighten things up, said “We aren’t going to see anything with you crying so loud”, but we got a really nice buck that day!!  
My dad loved doing gymkhana with his horse Joey and it was fun to watch him ride. He asked me to go home and get his horse ready for that evening, well….that darn horse of his didn’t want to be caught. I chased him for hours. He came home and asked if his horse was cleaned up and with me already being mad at this horse he goes oh, chase him with the bronco until he gets tired. Yep, he chased him and he gave up. My dad walked right up to him and put his halter on and said this is how you do it. That was the last time I ever wanted to look at that horse! I was not a happy camper.
I will always cherish the memories of my dad, I appreciate everything he has done for me in my life. He gave me the skills of being a hard worker, and to be kind to others. He did so much for me with my animals from my horses to showing my lambs at the fair. 
I was always so excited about going on the delta fishing or heading to the hills to go hunting. I made a promise to him that I will teach my kids his skills to carry on the Hatfield Tradition!

Ride High Dad, Until we meet Again! I love You!!

To my dad,
I’m writing this to let you know how much you’ll be missed. All the laughter, teasing and fun memories that I had with you. In 4-H when you hooked up the steer behind the truck to get it exercised walking it up and down the street. Going fishing when it was really wavy and I was ready to get sick then you yelled to go to the other side, If I hadn’t of listened it would of backfired in my face. Remember when I got my first speeding ticket, I was so scared to tell you and when I finally did you started cracking up. There are many more memories to share but for now I just wanted to tell you I love you and I will really miss you. This is not a goodbye this is I will see you later.
