I was Kens neighbor for five years.  He is the one who gave me hope for my own sobriety and inspired me to grow my own garden. I could always look forward to him walking buster by my house in the evenings.  He was a good friend with a great smile and I will surely miss him, our talks and the times we spent working in the yard.  God bless your family and thank you for always being very kind to me. I will see you again.

Thank you for all the sweet memories Ken. You were always very kind to my Mother and I. We will be comforted knowing you, Carla & Tiffy are all together again. Your family will be in our prayers.

Ken was just a very nice man.  We will certainly miss seeing him in his chair waving to us as we drove by and walking his little dog.  He always had one of the best gardens around and a true green thumb.   We will miss that big smile and the waves as we passed by.  You will be missed.

Ken, sorry that I will not be seeing you anymore walking around your home or walking the dog as I drove on Yosemite Avenue. I remember the days, seeing and speaking with you when I followed your train along the old Tidewater Southern Railway line. Much like the old T.S.Ry., you will be remembered along with the passing of the old railroad. Goodbye friend, Benjamin Cantu.

Ken, we miss you very much and still can not grasp the fact that you are no longer with us.  You've been such a loving and giving neighbor. But the Lord has called you home and now you can tend to an even bigger garden up there with no aches or pains. Once again Ken I just can't grasp the fact that you're not here....when I pass by your house I still think I'm gonna see you tending to your garden or just enjoying the weather outside in your chair for a few seconds then I realize you're gone. So I will say this... until next time I see you, you will truly be missed. Love ya Ken!
