Moo New Quan

Moo N. Quan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed away peacefully the morning of Tuesday, May 7, 2024. She was 95 years old.

Born on November 8, 1928 in Toy Shan City, China.

She was preceded in death by her husband Yee C. Quan. They were married for 50 years.

Her husband immigrated to the United States in the 1930’s. After World War II, they married and both located to North Platte, Nebraska to start their family. In 1956 they relocated to Stockton, California.

Moo has four adult children: Don Y. Quan (Cynthia) of Brentwood CA, Jane F. Tang (Steve) of Fremont CA, Art Y. Quan (Sharon) of Sacramento CA and Dean Y. Quan (Jeanie) of Monterey CA; seven adult grandchildren: Cicely Yu, Brian Tang, Erik Quan, Kimberly Paton, Andrew Quan, Lauren Quan and Brandon Quan and seven great-grandchildren.

She took care of the household and worked seasonally in poultry processing, fruit packing, and the canneries. She loved cooking authentic Cantonese Chinese dishes and dim sum delicacies for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
