Patrick Wayne Crouts

Patrick Wayne Crouts we born in Lake Charles, LA on November 6, 1948, to Wayne and Minerva Crouts. Patrick accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt Calvary Baptist Church in Lake Charles, LA. His early years were spent in Eureka, CA, San Francisco Bay Area, and San Jose Area. He relocated to Stockton, CA in 2002.

Patrick worked in the Silicon Valley for many years as project manager, buyer, and cost effective analyst. However, he felt his calling was to mentor young people. He had great counseling skills and mentored many teens and young adults.

After retiring to Stockton Patrick continued to mentor young people while working in the Manteca School District and as a employment analyst at Work Net.

Patrick was a lifelong scholar. His quest for knowledge continued through his earning a PhD in psychology in 2003. However, he was quick to caution his mentees that "the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom."

Patrick was deeply admired by many. He made several trips abroad and had friends around the world. He was so friendly and full of life. He loved to laugh and has made a positive impact on so many lives.

Preceding him in death are his parents, his sister, Margie Young, two brothers, Gilbert Lemelle and Anthony Crouts.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 46 years, Wilma Chappelle Crouts, daughter, Stephanie Crouts of San Jose, CA, sisters Paula Lemelle of Palo Alto, CA, Pamela Phillips of Hayward, CA, and Eve Richard of Lancster, CA, and one brother, Dwight Dominiue of Palo Alto, CA. He also leaves two God sons, Isiah Losoya and Cyril Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
