Jim Bock hired me to help with mechanical installations at Stephens.  This was back when the spec boat M195 was first under construction, about 1986 or so.  Jim introduced me to Dick and I was awed.  During my years there I developed  a great respect and admiration for the man.  He will indeed be missed.  Sadly, Jim Bock has also passed.
