Rosario C. Alejo passed away peacefully on October 6, 2017 in Stockton, California at the age of 72. Rosario is survived by her sons Victor & Trina Alejo, David Alejo, and daughter Cecilia & Lino Villanueva; grandchildren Alisa, Sophia, Marlisa, Stephen, Michael, Victor Jr., Ivan, Marcelino, Mateo, Ricky, Leno, Izayah, Leanna, Analina, and Frankie, and "grand-puppies" Lexxie and Roman; great grandchildren Elias, Little Michael, Little Mateo, Adonis, Malani, Lanesa, Ayana, Little Jim, Maliyah, Christian, Brianna, Felix and numerous nieces and nephews who were loved as her children. She is preceded in death by her husband Hector Alejo, sons Steven Castellon and Ector Alejo, grandson Miguel Ruiz, goddaughter Selena Gomez, and Punkies the cat. Rosario was born on January 5, 1945 in Brawley, California to Mogono and Joaquina Celis. She was an avid 49er fan with a special love for Joe Montana. She enjoyed going to Jackson Rancheria and spending time with her loving family. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, October 16th from 2 pm - 6 pm at DeYoung Memorial Chapel with a Rosary at 6 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Cathedral of the Annunciation on Tuesday, October 17th at 10 am followed by a committal service at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
