Tod was one of the most gentle, loving people I ever met. We had wonderful  times at the cabin,  riding our bikes and hiking and going to dances in high school. My mom loved him especially, staying in touch even when we broke up. She thought of him as a son and was proud of him as he served our country in his dangerous job as a canine paratrooper.  I wish peace and blessings for those he left behind, those who love and miss him.

Tod was dearly loved by my mother and father. They corresponded, considering him their adopted son. She always deeply cared how he was doing and was very proud of his accomplishments. My sincerest regret for the loss of this fine man and regards to Troy. Katherine Jones

Tod was my first true love and my mother loved him too. We had many adventures and he tried to protect me from what he knew of the world. 
I  remember his family in Glendora. I particularly extend my condolences to his mother,  Gail. Also, to Troy and  Julie and his father and Kaye. I'm so sorry for your loss.
 I'm sorry for the whole world's loss of a good, kind-hearted man.


I had the privilege of serving with Tod in the 118th MP Co.Abn.. I recently have been reconnecting with my Army brothers and wasn't able to reconnect with Tod. He was a great guy, a dedicated soldier and a good friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with Tod's family and current and past friends.

Tod was a fantastic father and provider. He always had advice that could only come from him and make complete sense to me. He taught us all to enjoy the day and share laughter with one another, and I will deeply miss talking with him and his visits to see my children.

Tod was a pleasure to know and to work with.  I worked with him every Spring, just before cherry season for at least ten years, and always enjoyed his jokes, his work ethic, and his friendship.
