

William “Bill” Clark passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, surrounded by his three daughters and his wife. He faced an aggressive and rare cancer with remarkable courage and strength. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the medical team at Stanford for the compassionate and dignified care provided during his final days.

A proud United States Navy veteran, Bill served his country twice in Vietnam as an air traffic controller and radar specialist. Following his military service, he built a distinguished career in the life insurance industry, where he served as a District Sales Manager.
Born and raised in San Francisco, Bill remained a devoted Bay Area sports fan throughout his life and was a loyal supporter of the San Francisco Giants. He was deeply patriotic and took great pride in his service to his country. An avid traveler, Bill visited 85 countries and enjoyed 43 cruises over the course of his lifetime, embracing cultures and experiences around the world.
Bill was known for his warmth, generosity, and unmistakable laugh, which brought joy to those around him. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Elizabeth Clark; his three daughters, Erin Hernandez, Erika Clark, and Shannon Clark; and his seven grandchildren, Spencer, Cameron, Madie, Zoe, Mateo, Stella, and Belle.
His legacy is one of service, generosity, dedication, love for family, and a life well lived.
