Arthur Arnold Ziehr

Art was born in the Brightbank area. Then raised and lived his entire life on his family farm near Hansen’s corner. Art was a quiet man and enjoyed a simple life. After losing his father Adolf at a very young age, he took it upon himself to become the “man of the house” and together with his loving Mother Emilie, they continued to farm together.

Art enjoyed the peaceful life. He was most content tending to his gardens, flowers and spending time with his dogs…especially his last pup named “Daisy”. He found great comfort tending to his cattle and other farm animals.

Art is survived by numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Adolf and Emilie Ziehr.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 11:00 am from Parkland Funeral Chapel, 3502 – 44 Avenue, Stony Plain, with Pastor Rod Buck officiating. Interment will follow in St Matthew / Inga Cemetery, SH 627, where Art will be placed close to his parents.
